I see wiki's being useful as long as someone is monitoring the content added to make sure it is accurate.
Not really sure how a wiki can help patrons and/or staff in libraries. Maybe a wiki for frequently asked questions or local history??
FYI -- the link to Using Wikis to Create Online Communities does not work.
